LaSSA stands for the National Collaboration for Anthropology Students. The goal of LaSSA is to bring together of anthropology students throughout the Netherlands. We promote mutual relationships and contact between anthropologists through a number of diverse and exciting events. Traditionally, LaSSA organizes five events throughout the year: the pub quiz, the excursion/debate afternoon, the anthropo career day, the hitchhiking weekend and the conference. The congress is the largest annual activity of the LaSSA. On this day we invite experts to come and talk about the relevant theme. It is a much appreciated event and the nice thing is that you can organize this yourself, because the LaSSA  is still looking for a congress committee! Are you a passionate anthropologist and would you like to attract major speakers for a conference, then we are looking for you!
