Time to leave the university! Learning about anthropology on campus is great, but a change of scenery can be just as inspiring. For this event, you will have the opportunity to see where you might end up as an anthropologist.

There are two anthropologist willing to let us into their domain. Ruud and Wilma. The information about them you can read below or on the Kwakiutl website under Lustrum.

Hey, my name is Ruud Fiere, I graduated in 2002 and I am a social project developer since 2006. Through the Company Cliëntenbelang, I work actively for people in vulnerable positions, ,with physical or mental limitations to develop strategies together with them that allow them to participate in society fully. Such as accessibility in the city and public transport, suitable homes and serious workplaces.

Wilma Simons is participating specialist-practice at the Rijksdienst for Cultural Heritage. She conducted anthropological research into the experience of Bosnian Serb youths of war-destroyed heritage and worked with community-art at asylum seekers centres in the Netherlands. Recently, she carried out research into the social value of heritage participation in the framework of the signing of the covenant of the Faro of the Council of Europe.
